What are the different types of Grout?
There are four basic types of grout – unsanded, fine sanded, quarry type and epoxy.

- Quarry type grout is the same as finely sanded grout for ceramic tiles, except a coarser grade of sand is used.
- Epoxy grout has a tremendous bonding strength ideal for countertops and areas more susceptible to stains.
How do I clean grout safely?
Grout, especially if it is light in colour, stains easily. If you cannot get rid of the stain with regular cleaning, combine baking soda and water to make a paste. Apply it to the stain and let it sit for a few hours—or even overnight—and then scrub out the stain with a nylon brush (or, in a pinch, an unused toothbrush).
How do I clean black grout off natural stone tiles?
Cleaning natural tile is the same as cleaning any other tile. You just have to combine elbow grease with chemicals and liquids to remove the excess. Mix a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar in a spray bottle. Shake and spray the solution onto the grout stain. Let the solution sit for at least five minutes. Wipe the grout stain area with a damp sponge to remove the excess grout and the stain.
